This beautiful freshwater fish is named for its distinct red stripe that runs from its head all the way down to its tail.  The gorgeous red stripe is captured in Loon Lake Decoy Company’s Miniature Rainbow Trout.  Our popular miniature folk art fish sculptures also make excellent Christmas tree ornaments for any angling enthusiast. 

            Inspired by his love for art and his grandfather, who hand-crafted his own fishing and spearing lures, Jerry Eppel started the Grand Daddy Bait Company line of folk art fish sculptures and spearing decoys.  Our line of reproductions are crafted and painted to exactly match the original Basswood carvings of Jerry Eppel.
